1 Year Yoga Teacher Training Course (Non-Residential) (Hindi)

• Programme : One Year Teachers’ Training Course (Hindi)

• Content - This is an advanced and comprehensive training course conducted in Hindi. The course is quite intensive and students are expected to complete the course curriculum in 1 year.

The course syllabus covers in depth study and practice of asanas, pranayamas and kriyas. Further, attitude training, public speaking, methodology of teaching, practice teaching, anatomy & physiology, Yoga and Samkhya philosophy, quintessence of the Bhagvad Gita, Yoga Sutras etc. are also given equal importance.

In addition to class attendance, participants are required to volunteer in various Camps, and the Sunday Satsangs. Besides, students have to read, study and prepare submissions and presentations, as required.

This course trains students to teach Yoga to all age groups, and in the management of various diseases. Highly trained teachers conduct this course.

On completion of full class attendance (minimum 210 days) and all other pre-requisites, an examination shall be conducted and successful students will be awarded certificates.

• Duration-  1 year

All public holidays are observed. Further, there will be no classes in the month of May.

The course commences on the 1^st day of every month.

Timings:

Monday to Friday: 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Sunday: Off

This is a non residential course.

• Pre-requisites

Pre-requisite is either successful completion of the 7 Days Health Camp or­ successful completion of the 1 Month Basic Teachers’ Training Course – within 3 months prior to joining this course.

All lectures will be in Hindi and students are expected to be fluent in speaking, reading and writing the language.
